The modern cloth diaper is not your grandma’s cloth diapers. It’s not even your parents’ cloth diaper. While traditional diaper styles are still available and loved by many, modern approaches to cloth diapering have tackled all the things that just didn’t work out.

Timea & I sat down to chat about her cloth diaper business, but I think this show evolved into a conversation about two people in the cloth diaper industry to find their place in the world.
Time is the owner of a diaper service in the Buffalo area, she is focused on sustainability and creating products that support families. We talk about some of the challenges of the industry, and creating, and doing the things we want to do.

6 years ago, when I started cloth diapering, I started with a stash of prefold diapers, size 1 covers, and a few microfibre all in one’s from the popular brand (at the time). The first few months I stumbled through wash routines and leaks trying to figure out how to cloth diaper and how to transition into motherhood. It was a messy time.
Today, I’m a Cloth Diaper author, podcaster and consultant. During these past six years since having my babies and cloth diapering, I’m still finding new ways to help guide parents through the information and feel supported and empowered in their decisions.
